Payment & Refund Policy

1. Scope

This policy governs payments for listing subscriptions, featured boosts, and other paid services on maattaam. It does not govern buyer-to-seller payments for items; those are user-to-user transactions outside our control.

2. Prices & Taxes

Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change prospectively with notice. Indian taxes (e.g., GST) apply where required. Tax invoices are issued to the email on file.

3. Payment Methods

Payments are via trusted payment gateways (cards, UPI, net-banking, wallets as available).

4. Subscription Terms

Subscriptions run for the selected term. Auto-renewal (if opted) charges your method at renewal unless cancelled beforehand.

5. Refunds

Generally non-refundable except Duplicate Charge; Failed/Incomplete Payment with Deduction; Statutory Refunds; Goodwill Downtime Credit (discretionary).

6. Chargebacks/Disputes

Unfounded chargebacks may lead to suspension; we may share data with the processor to contest.

7. Cancellation

Cancel auto-renewal anytime before renewal; access remains until end of term.

8. Processing Time for Approved Refunds

Typically 7–10 business days via the original method (subject to bank/gateway timelines).
